Posen Program

A generous grant from the Posen Foundation supports a four-course series on secular Judaism and its development across millennia. People often define Judaism solely as a religion, based on a textual tradition that stretches from the Bible, with Talmudic and medieval commentaries, to present day interpretations. Our Posen Program, however, endeavors to view the breadth of 3000 years of Jewish cultures in which religion-as we understand it-has been but one important component.
