Bagels & Books Winter Quarter 2025 - Dr. Elvira Basevich

 

In addition to being an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at UC Davis with an impressive list of academic publications, Professor Basevich is the author of How to Love the World (Pank Books, 2019), a finalist for a 2020 National Jewish Book Award in the category of poetry. She will read and we will converse about selected poems from this book, which can be downloaded for free here.
